The introduction of Home Information Packs, mixed with the current trading climate, Estate Agents are experiencing some of the biggest challenges to face their industry.  With probably the speed and efficiency a HIP can be prepared, being the single biggest issue, relating to HIP’s.

The recent announcement by the Housing Minister, Caroline Flint that an extension to the transitional arrangements introduced last year which enables a property to be marketed once the documents for a HIP have been commissioned, paid for or a payment arrangement in place, and for the documents to arrive within 28 days, being extended until 31st December 2008. Which at least ensures one less problem.
